Blake Street’s Real Estate, Lodging & Leisure (RELL) practice provides financing and advisory services to a selection of private organizations that buy, sell and develop land, ranging from private real estate developers to real estate investment trusts (REITs) and real estate operating companies (REOCs).  Our clients include both commercial and residential companies who build or own traditional real estate assets such office buildings, shopping centers, industrial properties and retail and multi-family projects, as well as developers of hotels, gaming facilities, mixed-use resorts and other specialty hospitality properties. Our professionals and affiliates have extensive experience in arranging private capital for real estate based companies, including common and preferred stock, convertible securities, hybrid securities, high yield and other debt financings, and structured and project finance products.  In addition to helping our clients raise project or entity level capital, our professionals assist with initiating, structuring, and negotiating joint ventures and special purpose vehicles, and provide buy-side, sell-side and other advisory services such as fairness opinions and corporate structuring advice to real estate management teams and Boards of Directors.
